Intellectual property
Your content is yours. The habits you name, the reflections you write, and any other content you create in Meridius belong to you. We don't claim ownership over it, we don't use it to train models, and we don't share it with third parties (except as described in our Privacy Policy).
Our app is ours. Meridius — including the app, its design, its code, its branding, and all content we've created — is owned by Meridius and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service for you.
Disclaimer of warranties
Meridius is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we make no warranties — express or implied — that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations.
We are not responsible for any habits you don't form, streaks you lose, or personal goals that go unmet. The outcomes are yours to shape; the app is just a tool to help.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meridius and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app — including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible loss.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of Meridius shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Meridius shall be resolved in the courts of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the app or email. Your continued use of Meridius after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
